  • I would like to thank for all that you did to make our new office a reality. We recently started seeing patients and have gotten a response greater than we could have ever imagined. I know there were some challenges, but you all were patient and professional throughout the whole process.
  • Dr. Daniel Donaldson - EyeCare Center of Martin
  • We were very impressed with how easy they were to work with and their understanding of the needs on both the clinic and retail side. Their team made it a priority to understand our vision for what we wanted our new space to look and feel like in addition to making it functional. They will be the first call we make for our next project.
  • Dr. Thomas Pinkston - Haywood Family Eye Care
  • We are thrilled with the outcome of our project designed by Optometric Architects.  I am still amazed at how Rob Stensland and his team could take our verbal descriptions of what we wanted, transform them into blueprints that turned into our dream building.  Our project was unique in that we had to remove a farmhouse built in 1870 from the property to make room for our new building.  We wanted to repurpose as much of the salvaged farmhouse components as possible and the team at Optometric Architects were able to incorporate everything we wanted.  Together we came up with ideas to repurpose 11 fireplace mantels, barnwood, beadboard ceilings and old windows from the old house.  We had multiple antique doors and they came up with the idea of using them as our frame board displays.  I love seeing  new patients walk in for the first time and take out their phone to take a photo.  Since we moved in, our building has been featured in Invision Magazine several times and was a top 3 finalist in Review of Optometry’s Office Design contest.
  • Dr. Rob Szeliga - Spring Hill Eye Care
  • We could not be happier with the entire project and outcome. We all stayed focused on getting a lay out that worked and could be built within budget and boy did our collective patience pay off! We could not be happier with it. It’s the perfect balance of space design and beauty. Our patients are out of this world wowed by the transformation. A few have said that the space now matches who we are. Thank you so much for your hard work at a difficult time.
  • Dr. Ann Voss - Bellaire Family Eye Care
  • My last project before this one, I lost hours of sleep and had such high stress working with a local architect to get the floor plan just right. I had to tell them everything and basically did the job for them and it delayed my project tremendously. I even went to his house for breakfast one morning so he could get the project moving! On an optometric office where patient flow is critical to get the most efficiency out of your space, I would never use a local architect again, and I’ve used two different ones. Rob and Optometric Architects designed a 6500 sq. ft. office that required minimal revisions. He basically nailed it the first try from my survey info. This would have taken 2-3 months with a local architect and many hours of work and revisions. Not to mention stress. Rob just knows optometric office design, layouts, patient flow patterns like the back of his hand. He is extremely good and most likely the best in our industry. I’m starting to also see some back-end savings on his ability to get me competitive civil and other engineering quotes by having those contracts already. So the extra money invested in an experienced optometric architect comes back to you in both time savings and other build cost savings down the road.
  • Dr. Chris Smiley
  • We love the design, the flow and how we got everything in there under one roof. We’re very pleased with the final project.
  • Dr. Angela Gulbranson - Visions Eye Care and Therapy Center
  • The new facility has given us the space to grow significantly. Our patients and staff love the space, it’s so open and airy. I love coming to work as the practice truly reflects our identity and the way I practice.
  • Dr. Helaina Boulieris - Eye Care Associates
  • Rob and Kevin at Optometric Architects took a vision for a world class 25,000 square foot facility and they distilled it down to a manageable project giving us many options along the way to bring the project in line with cost and the vision of the owner.  Their project management showed their strengths to coordinate the many subcontractors and specialists and they used smart engineering to produce a world class state of the art building, that I as the owner will be proud of for many generations.  The eye center stands as a pinnacle construction project that has few equals in our area.
  • Dr. Richard C. Mauer - Mauer Eye Center
  • The floorplan you created for us 5 years ago was brilliants not only then – but also brilliant throughout the pandemic as well. Patients move through the space quickly and easily without bottlenecks. I can’t say enough how grateful we were to work with you for both our original build-out and then again for expansion. Having an architect who truly understands optometric practices can make a huge difference. Thank you!
